Small gifts can be life-changing investments for a child.
The story traveler is more of a philosophy for living than anything. My purpose is to live a life worth telling about and help people do the same. Collecting experiences and authoring a story-worthy life can be done by traveling the globe, exploring your past, or being intentional with your everyday living. This is my quest to create a story-worthy life for myself, and inspiration to help you do the same.
As the world has stopped, I am pleased to see that people are spending time creating, thinking, and producing stuff. People are getting in the kitchen and cooking. People are accomplishing "to do" lists. It is encouraging to see. No matter what happens, the human spirit cannot be stifled. I love that museums from the world have opened their doors virtually for people to experience the wondrousness of their collections. I hope inspiration manifests, and kids and adults alike see the treasures past generations have given us. Despite what may seem bad, good finds ways to bloom. The world has given us a reset. Let us be thankful! This virus is awful, and it has knocked us all down in some way. Look at the good. Look at the connections that have been made and rekindled over the last few weeks. This is all good stuff! Now, we have big questions to answer for ourselves, our community, and our future world when life gets back to normal. How can we keep growing the good when life gets back to normal? How are we changed for the better? How are we going to reprioritize our normal? We mustn't revert to old ways when we have had an opportunity to become new people. |
